Apricot Slush

Shirley's Calico Beans

hamburger
onion
salt and pepper
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 can baked beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can butter beans drained
1 cup ketchup
2T vinegar
1 T mustard

fry up hamburger and onion

add rest of ingredients into oven safe dish, stir and bake at 350 for 1 hour




Ive reduced brown sugar down to 1/2 cup and ketchup to 1/2 cup and substituted ground beef for turkey and get a calculation of 12 WW pts per serving.

Dump Dinners Creamy Chicken



Serves 6

Ingredients:
  • 1 can condensed cream of broccoli or cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package frozen broccoli
  • One 6oz package seasoned wild rice mix
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine the soup, water, rice, and seasoning packet, broccoli and cheese in 3 quart casserole dish.
3. Lay the chicken breasts on top. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour, or until chicken is cooked through. 

Dump Dinners Deeply D'Lish Pizza

Ingredients:
  • 1 can of biscuit dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce 
  • Pepperoni slices 
  • Sliced olives
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1. Cut each biscuit into 6 pieces and drop in bottom of glass or ceramic baking pan sprayed with nonstick spray.
2. Cut pepperoni slices into quarters and distribute over biscuits.
3. Add sliced olives and then a layer of sauce, about 1 cup. (add in blops, and do not cover entire surface).
4. Sprinkle with light layer of cheese.
5. Bake at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Tip: You can use any topping as long as the will cook properly in 25 minutes; avoid raw meat.





Dump Dinners Skillet Lasssagna




Ingredients:
  • 1 lb. ground beef*
  • 1 packet Italian dressing seasoning
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta, such as penne or bow ties**
  • 1 28-ounce jar favorite pasta sauce
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
1. Heat a medium skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the ground beef and Italian dressing packet.
3. Cook until beef is no longer pink.
4. Add the water and pasta. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to medium low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, until pasta is tender.
5. Add sauce, stir in cheeses and heat through.





*substitute Ground turkey
** substitute fiber added/whole grain pasta
